Davis (1926-2014), “Alice” from the Brady Bunch, was born in Schenectady, NY? “Alice” was the Brady’s – and America’s – housekeeper, a position that, still today, ranks in the top 25 positions held by women employed full-time. In that role, women make 99% of the compensation men in those same positions make. Women make 100% of the salary of men as preschool or kindergarten teachers – because the US Department of Labor reports no men serving in that profession.
